Workshop Penulisan Artikel Online Journal System (OJS) Terindex Sinta, DOAJ dan Scopus

June 24th, 2019, English Graduate Program of Unisma held a Penulisan Artikel Online Journal System (OJS) Terindex Sinta, DOAJ dan Scopus Workshop. This program was conducted in a day started from 9am to 4pm in Ali bin Abi Tholib Building, Ruang Gusdur 7th floor. The workshop was initiated by the head of ELT Master of English Unisma, Dr. Hj. Mutmainnah Mustofa, M.Pd.

In this occasion, the committee invited two great professors from Univeritsas Negeri Malang (State University of Malang) and Universitas Islam Malang (University of Islam Malang) itself as the keynote speakers. The key speakers of the workshop were Prof. Ali Saukah, MA., Ph.D and Drs. H. Junaidi Mistar, M.Pd., Ph.D Moderated by Dr. Imam Wahyudi Karimullah, S.Pd., MA and Drs. Yahya Alaydrus, M.Pd. The event was participated by students who are doing or finishing their master thesis or articles.

The event was opened by Al-Qur’an recitation, Shalawat Nuril Anwar led by Unisma’s Qori’, Mohammad Junaidi, S.Pd. Then finally, the workshop was inaugurated by singing Indonesian Anthem and Subbanul Wathan. The first workshop materials were delivered by Prof. Ali Saukah, MA., Ph.D from Universitas Negeri Malang. His materials covered the topic including Designing Abstract Title, General Discussion of Research, Situational Analysis, References, Constructing Research Problems, Accomplished General-Development, and Pre-research Study.

Following the previous session, Drs. H. Junaidi Mistar M.Pd., Ph.D from Universitas Islam Malang presented his  materials covering the topic about Selecting Indexed Journal, Peer Review and Journal Reputation, Research Relevance, Impact Factor and Citation Awareness, Reviewing Criteria, and Plagiarism. The workshop ran very well with high enthusiasm from all of the participants.
